Guardian Emterra Megaterium focuses on the associative symbiosis between Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) and plant roots.
Emterra Megaterium is well adapted to the soil root rhizosphere, the soil located closest to to plant roots and characterized by the presence of root exudates (rhizodeposits).
Emterra Megaterium colonizes the rhizosphere through the use of root the exudates as growth substrates. But unlike most other rhizospheric bacteria it exerts a beneficial effect on the plants.
Emterra Megaterium reproduces rapidly in soil and soon becomes the advantage bacteria. In this role, it controls root nutrition and other resources so that harmful pathogenic bacteria lose their living space.
Guardian Emterra Megaterium also makes plant cell walls thicker with greater fibering and lignification. This results in the formation of cutin double silicon layers which serve as barriers against virus attacks.

The main probiotic in Emterra also generates a lot of organic acid which decomposes and dissolves previously indissolvable phosphorous substances, turning them into phosphorus. The phosphorous is then easily absorbed by plants, enhancing the using rate of phosphorus.
